At Keif, we believe that healing is a right, not a privilege.

Keif was born in March 2024 after a humanitarian trip serving those displaced by the war in Gaza. A group of mental health clinicians returned from that experience with a shared conviction: to serve communities that are too often left without access to mental health resources and support.

Our vision is to bring psychological expertise to those who need it most—individuals affected by war, trauma, and displacement. Our mission is to unite therapists who share this vision, building a community of supporters who believe in social equity and are committed to reaching as many people in need as possible.

We run projects that provide culturally attuned, decolonized approaches to mental health, using methods such as Brainspotting, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. We also partner with local therapists, offering training, supervision, and ongoing support to strengthen sustainable care within communities.

None of this work would be possible without our community and our Keif participants—the people who make this mission a reality by championing the values of social equity; decolonizing mental health; community outreach; and social enterprise.
